West Ham boosted their Premier League survival hopes with a dramatic 2-1 win over Everton at the London Stadium in Matchweek 34.

Tomáš Souček gave the hosts the lead, but Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall equalised in the 88th minute to leave the result hanging in the balance.

Just as it seemed the points would be shared, West Ham struck in stoppage time. El Hadji Malick Diouf’s cross was headed down by Jarrod Bowen, allowing Callum Wilson to pounce and finish from close range in the 92nd minute.

The win moves West Ham above Tottenham in the table.

Where do West Ham and Everton stand?

West Ham sit 17th, two points clear of the relegation zone, as they continue their fight to maintain their Premier League status.

Everton are 11th after this round and remain in the hunt for European places, though this defeat is a significant blow to their momentum.

    What’s next?

West Ham travel to Brentford on May 2 (15:00).

Everton host title contenders Manchester City on May 4 (16:30).
