This means he reached the landmark in 69 fewer games than Messi and 77 fewer than Ronaldo.

Norway looked like they would be heading into extra time with Côte d’Ivoire as the game was locked at 1-1 with a few minutes remaining. But Haaland had other ideas and netted in the 86th minute to win the match for Norway. They will now face Brazil in the last 16 in New Jersey.
