This is a highly anticipated quarter-final matchup between two highly ranked teams. France have a superb record in this tournament of five wins out of five, scoring 14 goals and conceding only two. Morocco have not disappointed either, as they are unbeaten in five games and highly confident after reaching another quarter-final in a World Cup.

    The Route

France won their group with ease, winning three consecutive matches against Senegal, Iraq and Norway. They then swept past Sweden and Paraguay in the last rounds. Morocco drew with Brazil in the opening match before beating Scotland and Haiti in the group stage. The Atlas Lions then won a penalty shootout against the Netherlands before crushing Canada 3-0.

    Match Winners

Leading the goal-scoring charts is Kylian Mbappe with seven goals; he is always a danger. France also have Michael Olise, who is the creator with five assists. With four goals, Ousmane Dembele is a real threat going forward too. Morocco have top scorer Ismael Saibari with three goals, who can punish any French mistake.

    Our Prediction

Morocco will not be easy to break down, but the French team looks extremely dangerous going forward, so we expect a low-scoring France win.
