Glasner will become the fifth head coach for Forest in a year. The Austrian, who guided Crystal Palace to an FA Cup as well as a Conference League title, aims to get Nottingham Forest to the next level. Glasner said:

With such a loyal fan base at Nottingham Forest, Glasner will be idolised at the City Ground. Nottingham Forest have a great history; they have lifted the European Cup twice and want to get back to winning ways.
The Forest owner, Evangelos Marinakis, believes he shares the same vision as Glasner. The Greek owner wants Forest to climb back to the top of English and European football, and Oliver Glasner is the man to help do that.
